Executive Summary
Across our five core programs, we served approximately 1.2 million people in Q1 2026 — a 12.3% increase over Q4 2025. This report focuses on the Pantry Network, which accounted for 33% of total service volume with approximately 618,000 visits across 612 active pantry sites. The North District continued to account for the largest share of pantry activity (31.2%), while the West District showed the strongest quarter-over-quarter growth at 18.4%.
Key Findings
Average household size among pantry visitors remained stable at 3.2 members, consistent with prior quarters. The Neighbor Experience Survey, which concluded in December 2025 with 4,217 responses, revealed that 76% of respondents used our pantry reservation system as their primary method for locating food assistance — up from 62% in the 2024 survey cycle. Cross-program analysis (forthcoming) will examine how Pantry Network households also engaged with School Meals, Senior Nutrition, and SNAP Outreach.
Data Limitations
This analysis reflects operational data from the Pantry Network only. Activity from our School Meals, Senior Nutrition, SNAP Outreach, and Mobile & Education programs is covered in separate program reports. Survey data includes both complete and partial responses; question-level response rates vary as described in the Participation Analysis report.
